Our creative menu offers a new approach to Italian culinary heritage and celebrates seasonal flavours and ingredients picked directly from our organic ortos and sourced from local suppliers. Panoramic views, picture-perfect sunsets and the orange-hued villa create the perfect setting for you to enjoy the company of your friends and family, whether you’re staying with us or dropping in just for the evening to celebrate a special occasion.


Osteria San Michele  at Villa Lena offers farm-to-table menus created with seasonal produce sourced from our organic vegetable gardens and local producers. Half-board booking options offer hassle free dining each night with a set four-course menu, or you can choose to dine a la carte when it suits. The menus offer simplicity and honesty, with dishes designed around sourcing much from the rich grounds of Villa Lena, which will provide the restaurant with seasonal vegetables, aromatics, olive oil, truffles, wine, and honey.


The Two Bars

Osteria San Michele Bar is the perfect spot to explore our exciting wine list made of wines mostly sourced from Tuscany and the surrounding regions, with producers specialising in low intervention wine making.
For a refreshing cocktail or an Aperitivo Hour make the most of our pool bar, basking in the evening sun with a selection of antipasti plates, accompanied by cocktails or wine for a set price.

The Orto

Our organic orto, our fantastic vegetable garden, spreads over 2 hectares of the Villa Lena estate and just keeps on growing. The annual cycle of bountiful produce provides our restaurant with fresh, sun-drenched veggies, underpinning our seasonally-led menus. Our farm is run on organic, biodynamic and closed-loop principles, meaning our crops are organic and we recycle all nutrients and organic matter back into the soil that it grew in.

Culinary Workshops

Our food workshops give you the chance to learn tips and tricks from our chefs and explore your culinary creativity. Enjoy the opportunity to step outside to forage for ingredients in our organic vegetable gardens and then cook the tastiest selections of the season with our chef-in-residence. Learn to make pasta from scratch and take your skills home to impress your friends and family.

Culinary Workshops


Our chef-in-residence programme enables international chefs to visit Villa Lena and share their creative vision and recipes for organic, sustainable cuisine, offering guests an ever evolving menu. They lead food workshops, host special feasts and occasionally do a takeover in the San Michele Restaurant.

Whether it’s a poolside communal dining experience, dinner under the stars in front of the villa, a BBQ for all of our guests or an intimate dinner for two in a secret location, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy unique food experiences at Villa Lena.
