Each autumn, Villa Lena opens its woodlands for truffle season. Book the Truffle Hunting Experience package and join a local tartufaio and his dogs — often with Igor, Lena’s loyal companion and the villa’s unofficial mascot — for a guided hunt through the estate’s forests. The morning continues with a pasta-making workshop before sitting down to a light truffle lunch at Osteria San Michele, where the day’s discoveries are brought straight to the table.
