Autumn turns Villa Lena’s 500 hectares over entirely: vendemmia and Villa Lena’s own wines for the parents, movie nights in the Screening Room for the kids. There are hikes across the estate too, trails that carry their own stories of the land, perfect for children curious enough to ask what happened here. There’s a pasta workshop with our chefs, the Agriculture Team’s dogs are already working a truffle hunt, our mascot Igor might tag along too, and resident artists leave their studio doors open for workshops, clay or painting, for all ages to unleash their creativity. The pool’s still warm enough for an afternoon swim, and there’s room enough across the whole estate for the family to do exactly as they please.

Florence is about an hour’s drive, close enough for a full day among the museums and back in time for dinner at Osteria San Michele. Through one of our partners, Palazzo Strozzi, we’re always happy to point you toward the exhibitions and museums worth the trip. Lucca, San Gimignano, and Siena are just as close, and the Tuscan coast at Forte dei Marmi makes for a longer day out by the sea.
