Experience the healing, joyous and empowering energy of yoga twice a day at Villa Lena. Enjoy our brand new indoor studio and outside yoga deck, immersed in the Tuscan landscape. Complimentary practices including mindful movement workshop with Eleanor Bauer – explore the importance of the link between mind and body in a practice of honouring and honing our sensory embodied intelligences.
We embrace the start of each day on this retreat with a soulful and uplifting Vinyasa yoga class that accommodates the needs of beginners to advanced yogis. Teacher Nina Butler of Exotic Yoga Retreats is passionate about curating her classes to offer unique and poetic insight, as well as sensitively guiding each student to reach their ‘physical edge’ and to challenge themselves safely. As we develop in our yoga practice in the morning, so we expand our capacity to explore and tune into our gorgeous Tuscan countryside surroundings over the day. Come evening, it will be time to reconvene for a soothing yin yoga and meditation session. Dive more deeply into your practice, soften your heart and recharge your batteries in the evening classes, readying yourself for a blissful dinner and restorative night sleep.
As well as yoga there will be clay workshops with artist-in-residence Anousha Payne to unleash your inner creativity, loosening the mind through sensory engagement and connections to mother Earth.
Food workshops with our chef-in-residence Katzie Guy-Hamilton will continue to engage the senses, through our fresh Tuscan produce, perfectly ripe for the September harvest season to rejuvenate and energise for a healthy and wholesome stay.
Breakfast and dinner included at our beautiful Villa Lena restaurant with superb views over the rolling hills of Tuscan, with fresh cocktails and wine from the on-site vineyards.
