Creative workshop – Bargello Needlepoint
Aprile 26 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Creative workshop | Bargello Needlepoint with Cecilia Charlton
In this workshop participants will become familiar with the bargello needlepoint technique, a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid in a mathematical pattern to create motifs. The name originates from a series of chairs found in the Bargello palace in Florence, which have a distinct and graphic pattern. Cecilia will introduce the materials and working methods behind bargello and encourage experimentation with this needlepoint style. This workshop aims to make embroidery more approachable and a daily creative activity that is fun for all ages.
