Firing would happen during the evening and into the night.

This activity invites the whole community to come together to stoke the flames as participants’ clay creations are captured by fire. To reach temperatures to turn clay to ceramic takes time, pit firing is a slow and exciting experience, fueling the fire from the afternoon into the late hours to then close it off overnight. Firing will take pace during the evenings, allowing participants to drop and contribute to fire management and experience the magic of transformation.

Terms & Conditions

– Paid workshop costs this will be added to your final bill at the check out.
– For bookings over 4 participants please contact reception.
– At peak time workshops can be oversubscribed, but we will always do our best to ensure that everybody is able to take part in one of our experiences.
– Food workshops must be before 10 am on that morning
– wine tasting must be booked 24 hours in advance.
– This schedule is subject to change by Villa Lena management
– For paid workshops you will be charged unless we receive 24 hours notice
– To cancel, please email host@villa-lena.it with at least 24 hours notice to avoid charges
– If you do not arrive before the start time of a workshop, your spot will be offered to someone on the waitlist
– If you are on the waitlist for a workshop please feel free to show up in case of last minute cancellations, otherwise we will email you if a place becomes available.
