We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Our San Michele Restaurant is open from April to October, and offers farm-to-table menus created with seasonal, organic produce sourced from our organic vegetable gardens and local producers. We have a small but well-curated wine list featuring Tuscan wines from both small, family-run wineries and internationally renowned Tuscan winemakers.
Our menus showcase a creative dialogue between the chefs on our international chef-in-residence programme and local chefs steeped in the age-old traditions of Tuscany, offering something surprising and new alongside the best of the culinary heritage of the region all year round. The San Michele Restaurant welcomes all of those exploring this part of Tuscany, not just guests. So even if it is only for one meal, please feel welcome to join us. We take reservations and have free parking.
Our breakfast is a continental breakfast with a broad range of dishes to suit all tastes and diets, from poached eggs on a bed of crushed avocado on toast to the signature Villa Lena Garden bay-infused beans.
For lunch, our à la carte menu includes refreshing salads, delicious pastas or Tuscan specialities such as Chianti Tuna. Like all our menus, it is based in the seasonal bounty of the estate.
Join us for an aperitivo from an hour before dinner to enjoy the views over the valley and 19th-century Villa with that most iconic of Italian aperitif traditions.
Our dinner menu is created daily drawing on what’s in season and what we harvest in our gardens in the morning. The three-course dinner can be adjusted to suit your personal dietary requirements and each evening always sees us offering a mouthwatering special.
Tuesday nights see our popular pizza buffet take up its weekly place, centre stage—with its all-you-can eat selection of pizzas and seasonal salads.
